Here we GO

On January 2014 I gave up buying any clothes for the whole year!  You read that right I will not be purchasing anything for 365 days.  I wont lie I'm a little scared but I'm tired of seeing all my clothes in my closet and not wearing all of them and that is what I do for a living.  I am the owner of Revamp Wardrobe Consulting and Closet Audit so I should be practicing what I preach.... in regards to teaching my clients how to wear their wardrobe in as many ways possible.  I would never tell someone not to shop because I absolutely love clothing and fashion, this is solely a challenge for myself! It is sort of a dramatic way to see what items I am missing from my wardrobe.

On the whole I'm feeling very positive about this goal.  I will be wearing all my clothing items in as many different ways possible and those that I don't find cute, sexy or, age appropriate will be put in a clothing exchange box.  Which means, I will be hosting a clothing exchange in a few months so start weeding through your closets. I like to think clothing exchanges are sort of like shopping.  Right?

I'm a tad camera shy which I promise I will overcome within a year so here is my first slightly blurry image of my outfit.  I know right, sorry!  I have a new found love for boy cut jeans, you will be seeing lots of photos of these.  They are super comfortable which is important to me cause, did I mention, I'm primarily a stay at home mom with two boys!  Comfort is priority.... well, looking fashionable while being comfortable is priority, even with being a mom.  I want every mom out there to know it is possible to bypass that stereotypical "mom look".
